july twenty seventh.

last month my friend sammi and I went to a dierks bentley concert in san diego. we mainly went for one of the openers, chris young, but the whole concert turned out to be one of the best experiences, every singer was so, so good. + I got to touch dierks' hand so that was pretty sweet ;)

all four of them are so talented, must be a pretty amazing feeling getting to live your dream.

we loved this mirror in our hotel. we took about eighty seven pictures in it.

the rest of our short trip was spent driving around coronado island, sight seeing, eating, and listening to the same songs we heard at the concert. 

birthday round two.

on Sunday morning I woke up early picked up my same named companion (aka my best friend) and we drove to joshua tree national park. we hiked a couple hikes and saw lots of joshua trees. then we drove all the way to Palm Springs. we stayed at the most colorful hotel, laid by the pool, rode bikes, had drinks, swam, people watched, and just enjoyed the hotel life. it went by way too fast but it was definitely the best twenty first birthday.
